Originally planned to be fully timber clad, the clients eventually settled on protecting the facade from the marine environment with a long life fibre cement sheet, reducing the maintenance requirements in the future.
Design Challenges
The small, steep site required the construction of a serpentine style driveway, snaking around the planted out waste water evaporation beds.
